Exploring Physical Education Application Strategies through a Bibliometric Analysis of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)
Abstract
본 연구는 사회정서학습(Social Emotional Learning, SEL)과 체육 관련 연구의 지식 구조와 발전 경향을 통합적으로 이해하고, 체육수업의 SEL 적용 방향을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 Web of Science(WoS) 데이터베이스에서 2015년부터 2025년까지 총 10년간 발표된 SEL 관련 논문 중 ‘체육(Physical Education)’, ‘신체활동(Physical Activity)’, ‘스포츠(Sport)’, ‘운동(Exercise)’으로 검색하고 CiteSpace와 VOSviewer를 사용하여 계량서지학으로 134편의 논문을 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, SEL과 체육 관련 연구는 2020년 이후 급격히 증가하였으며, 주요 연구국가는 미국, 스페인, 한국, 노르웨이 등이었다. 둘째, 핵심 연구 주제는 ‘건강 및 행동 촉진, 청소년 발달과 프로그램 실행, 동기 및 개입 효과, 교과 및 교수학습 모델’의 네 개 군집으로 도출되었다. 이러한 결과는 SEL이 체육수업에서의 적용 가능성을 시사하며, 향후 체육교과의 교육과정, 교사교육, 평가체계에 SEL을 구조적으로 반영할 필요성을 제안한다.
