Abstract

Students will be asked to review one 3D engineering-focussed video a week and complete a brief learning log. This is intended to capture:- Whether they found the video interesting, useful, relevant- Any technical issues with the video- How they feel the 3D video compared to the alternative of a 2D on-screen video.- To make the video meaningful they will be asked to comment on what they learnt and any further questions they may have. There will be a final in-person meeting with all students. This will be in person and recorded on a digital Dictaphone, from where it will be manually transcribed. It is designed specifically as a loosely structured session to give the students free-reign to feedback on the investigation, primarily focussed on the traditional WWW/EBI (what went well/even better if) approach.
