Abstract

This study aims to investigate the experiences of workers who have undergone abortion while in paid employment in Great Britain. This project seeks to identify the key issues faced in the workplace by such workers and how these workplace issues affect workers’ experiences of both abortion and work. This project will examine how these issues relate to the stigmatisation of abortion in order to identify and explore the way(s) in which abortion stigma may manifest in the workplace and the implications of this for those seeking abortion while in paid employment.
