Abstract

Data Management Plan for project. This project seeks to understand the experiences of students undertaking the Open University pre-registration nursing degree who live on islands. Island communities are considered distant and remote from mainland UK and the concept of ‘islandness’ and how this applies to students studying at a distance is poorly understood. To date no research exists that looks at this phenomenon and this study aims to address this as well as hoping the data will contribute to the growing scholarship in this area. In addition, this project will utilise a co-production methodology working with the participants to inform contemporary data collection.
