Abstract

Data Management Plan for project 'Autoethnography as Pedagogy and Pedagogical Assessment: An Ethical and Critical Case'Autoethnography provides a logistically and intellectually useful means of delivering and assessing knowledge and understanding on courses focused on social research skills and approaches and, qualitative methods and analyses. It both exercises a method that can yield rich and complex data and embeds a sensitivity to reflexivity and positionality central to development of a good researcher. This study explores autoethnography as a form of learning and assessment strategy for teaching research approaches and methods, through a case study of its application in the level 3 Undergraduate module: E320 Contemporary Research with Children and Young People (2,035 students registered in 24J).
