Conceptual Design Report: An Instrument for Fusion Research at the European XFEL
Abstract
This conceptual design report presents the design of a dedicated scientific instrument at the European XFEL that will address key physics challenges associated with fusion research by exploiting the unique capabilities of high-peak-power X-ray free-electron laser beams as precision diagnostics.
