COVID-19-Impfung nach allogener Blutstammzelltransplantation: eine Bestandsaufnahme
Abstract
Introduction: AlloHCT recipients are at increased risk of COVID-19 and lower vaccine immunogenicity. We assessed vaccine immunogenicity and safety in alloHCT pts at a single center in Germany. Methods: We analyzed the serological response after the second and third SARS-CoV-2 vaccination as well as factors influencing the vaccination response. Data were obtained from internal hospital records. A questionnaire was used to evaluate the vaccination status, any vaccination side effects, and the course of expired COVID-19 disease. Results: Altogether 114 pts were enrolled, of those 59 (51.8%) male. Median age was 62 years. Most pts (89.4%), were vaccinated at least twice. Serological samples were available from 72.6% of pts after the second and from 58.0% pts after third vaccination. The majority of pts had titers above the cut off of 33.8 BAU/ml after the second (81.1% of the pts) or third (96.08%) vaccination and median titer increased significantly from 848.9 BAU/ml after second to 3490.0 BAU/ml after third vaccination (p
