Abstract

Although some historical records exist of Barisia ciliaris ocurring in Hidalgo, the herpetofaunistic inventories of this state do not include this species. Herein we provide new evidence that confirms the presence of B. ciliaris in Hidalgo, Mexico, within the Parque Nacional Los Mármoles and in the municipality of Ixmiquilpan.
