Abstract

This study argues that the Bhagavad Gita provides a crucial framework for environmental justice advocacy, highlighting the need for its wisdom in addressing contemporary ecological challenges. While biblical foundations, globalization, and colonialism often contribute to environmental injustice, the Bhagavad Gita emphasizes the principles such as duty, interconnectedness, and respect for nature. By promoting selfless action and moral responsibility, the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita offer a path toward equitable and sustainable environmental practices. This analysis give premium to the importance of adopting the Gita's wisdom as a guiding principle for global environmental justice advocacy for the well-being of all living beings.
