Double Hill-Sachs Lesion Managed with Arthroscopic Bankart Repair and Remplissage: A Case Report
Abstract
Hill-Sachs lesion is a bony defect in the posterolateral aspect of the humeral head which occurs commonly after anterior dislocation of the shoulder. Here, we present a case of an atypical Double Hill-Sachs lesion where there was an additional bony defect along with the typical Hill-Sachs with a bridge of normal cartilage in between with off-tracking glenoid which was managed by Bankart repair and remplissage. This case report shows that these lesions occur mostly in recurrent glenohumeral dislocations and the operative management of these rare lesions.
