Abstract

Low back pain is one of the most frequent reasons for consultation in primary care and emergency departments. It represents a major public health burden, with nearly 70% of adults experiencing at least one episode during their lifetime, and accounts for a substantial proportion of medical visits, imaging requests, and work absenteeism. Because of its frequency, low back pain is often trivialized, leading clinicians to rely rapidly on symptomatic treatment or imaging, sometimes at the expense of careful clinical examination [1].
