Matlab analysis of st1it2rv model for forecasting and vaccination strategy during outbreaks
Abstract
In recent years, the global health landscape has been significantly challenged by the emergence and re-emergence of infectious diseases. Effective management of these diseases requires robust forecasting models and strategic vaccination protocols. This paper presents the ST1IT2RV model, a sophisticated compartmental model in epidemiology, designed to simulate and forecast the dynamics of infectious diseases. Utilizing MATLAB Simulink, a versatile platform for modeling and simulation, this study demonstrates the implementation and effectiveness of the ST1IT2RV model. By integrating various strategies for vaccination and treatment within this model, we explore optimal approaches to mitigate the spread of infections. The simulations provide insights into how strategic adjustments in vaccination and treatment efforts can influence disease outcomes and public health safety. The findings underscore the importance of adaptable and dynamic strategies in epidemic preparedness and response, presenting a significant step forward in epidemic modeling. This study contributes to the field by highlighting how simulation-based approaches can inform and optimize public health decisions.
