A Memória como um critério de noticiabilidade
Abstract
Newsworthiness criteria assist the journalistic community in the process of selecting what will become a newsworthy event in the present time. However, the past can be evoked by communicational acts mediated by memory. To this end, this article proposes to present propositions on how memory becomes a newsworthiness criterion in journalistic productions. From an approach of the history of communication, journalistic materialities are analyzed through memorable events and the activation of documentary sources and life stories. It was found that memory can be activated as an ephemeris and recognition, sedimented in local experiences and an intersectional approach.
