Crustal Structure Across the Okavango Rift, Botswana: The SEISORZ Wide-Angle Seismic Experiment
Abstract
• The Okavango Rift Zone is developing in a ~130-km-wide region of the Damara Belt characterized by more than 7 km of crustal thinning. • Low crustal Vp beneath the Okavango Rift Zone suggests damaging from rift-related faulting and deformation and elevated temperatures.
