Abstract

This dataset presents data from a series of insect antennae across different voltage treatments, compounds and compound concentrations. Insects: bumble bee (bombus terrestris), parasitoid wasp (Aphidius ervi), aphid (Aphid fabae) and fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster). Compounds: Citral, E-2-Heptenal, E-2-Hexenal, E-B-Farnesene, Ether, Limonene, Linalool, Nepetalactone and Ocimene. Measurements included 1) Measurement of antennal charges via Faraday cup, 2) Extraction of antennal surface using diethyl ether, 3) Electroantennography (EAG), 4) Microscopy
