CSU, CHA and CSU-AE
Abstract
We read with great interest the article by Sartorio et al (1).Despite finding clear clinical and demographic differences between mast cell-mediated angioedema (CHA) and chronic spontaneous urticaria with angioedema (CSU-AE), CHA is considered to be a subtype of CSUmostly based on shared treatment options, rather than true clinical equivalence.This classification persists even as evidence accumulates supporting their separation as distinct conditions.
