Статья посвящена изучению языковых средств, относящихся к обозначению элементов недельного круга в языке Петровской эпохи. Неделя детерминирована исключительно социальными ритмами. Каждый день недели занимает определенное положение и ассоциируется с какой-либо деятельностью. В первой четверти XVIII в. существовал двойной счет недели как в церковном, так и в народном календаре, это отражено в памятниках письменности. При этом номинации дней недели обладают как религиозной, так и светской направленностью. The article focuses on the linguistic means related to the elements of the weekly cycle in the language of the Petrine epoch. The week is determined entirely by social rhythms. Each day of the week occupies a certain position and is associated with some activity. In the first quarter of the 18th century, there was double counting of the week in both church and national calendar, which is reflected in the written records. At the same time, the nominations of the week days have both religious and secular meaning.
