Abstract

The Internet has already become an indispensable component of modern society, seamlessly integrated into various aspects of daily life, and it is expected to serve as a fundamental infrastructure for the circulation and effective utilization of diverse data generated from all places, people, and things involved in human activity. To realize a sustainable society where various aspects of human activity are continuously supported in real and virtual spaces, it is necessary to advance not only the architecture and protocol design of the Internet/platforms that traverse the real/virtual spaces, but also other indispensable technologies (e.g., security, AI) for safe, sustainable, and cost-effective operation.
