El tiempo de las imágenes
Abstract
Published in 1992, Fernando Molano’s novel Un beso de Dick has been celebrated for its openness towards homoerotic sexuality. However, this paper aims to develop a reading of the text from its relation to the HIV crisis, with special focus on the question of temporality and poetic imagination. Thus, from a critical handling of certain postulates of (post)structuralist narratology and queer studies, this research explores the intricate relations between time and image as they are postulated in Molano’s novel.
