Randomized Projection Operators onto piecewise Polynomial Spaces

This Jupyter notebook accompanies the paper “Randomized Projection Operators onto piecewise Polynomial Spaces.” It contains all scripts required to reproduce the figures and tables in the manuscript. In particular, the code maps given right-hand sides onto piecewise polynomials via random point-evaluations. Then it solves the Poisson model problem with the approximated piece-wise polynomial right-hand side and compares it to deterministic evaluations.
