Abstract

Our research had as a problem to understand the forms of resistance of young rural homosexual men in schools in the semiarid region of Alagoas, including the impacts of these resistances for the school and for them. With this, we aim to understand the processes of sexual subjectivation built by young rural homosexual men in the school context, in relation to heteronormativity and colonialities. Specifically we aim: to know the ways of life of these young homosexual men in and around the countryside; to know the power regimes that have impacted on their subjectivation processes; understand the resistance strategies they have developed to deal with the power dynamics that operates on the processes of subjectivation in school, family and community; and systematize the contributions of decolonial studies to Psychology in a theoretical-methodological dimension. For this, we problematize the research context and reconstitute our research decolonizing process, focusing on decolonial and analectic as an analytical tool, presenting the following moments of the process: disclosure, initial conversations, interviews and conversation wheel. Our study was based on conceptions about youth, masculinity, homosexuality, school and in the countryside, decoloniality, resistance, processes of subjectivation and the colonialities of power, knowledge, being and gender. We had eleven participants between 15 and 20 years of the semiarid of Alagoas. Our decolonial analytic was based on analectic, choosing as categories homosexuality, school, resistance and Decolonial Psychology, with their thematic units. In the end, we understand that they are young rural homosexual men who, in their contexts, generally act in Communility in the colonial difference, affirming their homosexualities in opposition to the colonialities. And we present parameters in Psychology for an action that affirms other subjects and their decolonial attitudes.
