A model of business-processes territorial distribution of design-and-survey enterprises
Abstract
Subject. Development of regional markets, and the issues related to creating a network of branches of large companies, and performing work under a contract. Objectives. To develop a tool that can help select the optimal strategy for territorial scaling of design-and-survey companies. Methods. For the study, I used a comparative analysis and logical modeling. Results. The article presents a classification developed for the regions where the design-and-survey company operates. It also proposes options for the distribution of business processes depending on the specifics of the region; for each option, strengths and weaknesses are identified, and the potential economic effect is assessed. Conclusions. The practical application of the proposed tool can help managers of design-and-survey enterprises find a balance between potential benefits (revenue growth, entering new markets) and accompanying risks (increased costs).
