Abstract

The article analyzes the transformation process of far-right parties of Germany, Sweden and Italy. The goal of research was to study the evolution of far-right parties of Germany, Sweden and Italy from neo-fascist groups to right-wing populism parties. The theoretic base of research were studies devoted to party systems of European states at the late XX century. Party programs, manifestos and claims of far-right political parties were used as empirical base of research. A method of comparative analysis was used in the research. In the process of comparative analysis were measured levels of radicalism and types of nationalism, economic policy and methods of political activities. The research resulted in conclusion that far-right parties had undergone a procedure of liberal transformation which lead to the decrease in the level of radicalism and choosing a course for legal political activities. Nevertheless, those parties saved their nationalistic core values.
