El amor erótico en dos Solaris: Lem (1961) y Tarkovski (1972)

El amor erótico es un tema axial en el Solaris, escrito por Stanisław Lem en 1961; sin embargo, su trascendencia original es de menor envergadura que la que Andrei Tarkovski le concedió en su adaptación cinematográfica de 1972. Aunque tanto el libro como la película comparten una base ciencia-ficcional común, la representación del idilio entre Kris y Harey es dispar, cosa que notaron ambos autores. Es la intención de este texto exponer la disimilitud y cercanía entre los propósitos estéticos de ambos autores a la hora de contar la historia de la media naranja. Como el estado del arte había señalado de forma dispersa, estas diferencias revelan una comprensión distinta de la ciencia ficción y exponen los azares que suponen pasar de un formato artístico a otro: Lem está más intrigado por el océano misterioso; Tarkovski, por su impacto en los tripulantes de la nave. Although book and film share a common science fiction basis, the representation of the idyll between Kris and Harey is disparate, something that both authors quickly noticed. The intention of this text is to expose the dissimilarity and similarity between the aesthetic purposes of both authors when telling the story of the better half. As the state of the art had pointed out in a scattered manner, these differences reveal a different understanding of science fiction and expose the hazards of moving from one artistic format to another: Lem is more intriged in the mysterious ocean; Tarkovsky, in its impact on the ship’s crew.
