Evolución de la presencia de mujeres escritoras del Gran Caldas (Colombia) en el diario La Patria de Manizales (1921- 1960)
Abstract
The newspaper La Patria, based in Manizales, was founded in 1921 and is one of five century-old newspapers in Colombia. This work presents the results of archival research carried out on its printed archive from its founding until 1960, a period in which the publication of books by regional female authors was scarce and their works circulated mainly in newspapers and magazines. The archive allows for a descriptive analysis that identifies the female authors from Gran Caldas who wrote during that period, the genres they cultivated, and the conditions under which their texts were published: the sections in which they appeared, their frequency, length, and variations recorded over these four decades.
