Abstract

HyperReact is a vitiated blow down wind tunnel. Over the past 9 years, the facility has continued to increase in capabilities since it’s creation at the Propulsion and Energy Research Laboratory (PERL). Capable of producing flight relevant enthalpies for Hypersonic Mach numbers. The tunnel’s interchangeable test sections have given valuable data to a number of projects varying in scientific objectives. Currently, there exists no publication covering the operability or testing configurations that are possible. This paper will serve as reference to both previous and future works.
