Abstract

For long-term observation of a target celestial body, robust station-keeping techniques are utilized around the reference orbit. Toward developing a new robust station-keeping method for evaluating the robustness during the optimization process, this paper proposes a method to construct a feedback control system and evaluate the robustness based on probabilistic invariant sets with given control gains. The application of probabilistic invariant sets is realized by stabilizing the linear system around the reference using feedback control. Numerical simulation demonstrates the proposed framework for robust station-keeping around a near-rectilinear halo orbit in the Earth--Moon system.
