Abstract

The spread of small UAVs, the risk of drones being tracked and attacked by birds and crashing is increasing, but the fundamental method of avoiding such attacks is only by human control and depends on the skill of the pilot. The guidance system for birds is being elucidated, and it is said to use a method similar to the guidance law for missiles, but its navigation constants vary depending on the tracking situation. In this study, we propose a method to estimate the navigation constant using UDE estimation, calculate the avoidance timing using the adjoint method, and perform evasive maneuvers for birds whose navigation constants are unknown.
