Correction: Exploration of Acoustic Trap Stability Limit at Sub-Atmospheric Pressures and Reduced Temperatures
Abstract
Correction NoticeIn page 1, the sixth sentence in the abstract section (first page) should read that "In this work, we explore acoustic levitation at sub-zero temperatures (down to -30 °C) and sub-atmosphere pressures (down to -0.65 atm), paving the way for future shock interaction experiments.",not "….sub-atmosphere pressures (down to 0.4 atm), ...".In page 7, figure 5 and caption should be read as follows: Fig. 5 Trap stability limit study of acoustic levitator for a levitated DI water droplet. In this plot, the x-axis is the Detachment Temperature (°C) and the inverted y-axes are the Detachment Pressure (MPa & hPa).Each data points are recorded based on the experiment, and for nodes 5, 6, and 7.These data points are recorded when the droplet detached from the trap due to decreased pressure and temperature inside the desiccator. In page 8, the second sentence of the last paragraph should read that "To interpret the performance of this plot, a histogram plot (Fig. 6) and a box-whisker plot (Fig. 7) are also produced."not "To interpret the performance of this plot, a histogram plot ?? and a box-whisker plot ?? are also produced."
