Abstract

Correction NoticeIn Sec.V.A.1, the concluding sentences of the third paragraph should read "These measurements found that the plasma potential decreased to less than 60% of the potential in the source region within 2.5 cm of the thruster exit plane. We therefore assume π‘‰π‘π‘π‘œπ‘‘π‘¦ = 0.6π‘‰π‘π‘ π‘œπ‘’π‘Ÿπ‘π‘’ for our calculation of electron temperature adjacent to the thruster body."This assumption ensures that the model captures the electron cooling that takes place between the source region and the near-field plume.
