Metode Pelaksanaan Pekerjaan Erection Struktur Baja pada Fasilitas Refinery (Studi Kasus: RDMP Kilang Pertamina Balikpapan)

The Refinery EPC Project is a construction project with a high level of complexity. Steel structure installation is one of the main tasks,and steel structures being used in several main facilities at the refinery. The purpose of this study is to identify efficient methods for carrying out work on the Refinery EPC Project. The methods used in this study were literature review and data collection through direct observation of the work area, and the information obtained will be compile into a document. The results of this study was the steel structure erection method is carried out systematically and sequentially, and that quality control stages are an important part of carrying out each stage of work with reference to the approved ITP. The recommended stage from this study is the Ground Assembly stage, which is related to reducing the risk of work accidents and the efficiency of crane mobility time.
