Abstract

Background: Recurrent anterior shoulder dislocation is a common condition affecting young, active individuals and is associated with significant functional impairment. Conservative management has a limited role in recurrent cases. Arthroscopic Bankart repair with suture anchors has gained popularity due to reduced morbidity, improved cosmesis, and faster rehabilitation. This study aimed to evaluate the surgical and functional outcomes of arthroscopic stabilization in patients with recurrent anterior shoulder dislocation. Methods: A prospective interventional study was conducted in the Department of Orthopaedics, Government Stanley Medical College, Chennai, from April 2019 to November 2020. Twenty patients above 18 years with recurrent anterior shoulder dislocation and glenoid bone loss
