Ablation of the ablator: accidental guide catheter machining by a 1.75-mm burr in a 6F Amplatz guide
Abstract
An 85-year-old woman presented with a subocclusive, severely calcified ostial lesion of the right coronary artery. A 6F Launcher Amplatz Left 0.75 guide catheter (Medtronic) was selected to maximize back-up support.
