Kidney transplantation is an important treatment option for patients with terminal renal failure. Objective: to improve the treatment outcomes for patients with the end-stage chronic renal failure. Materials and methods. A retrospective analysis of 287 kidney transplantation cases for the period from 01.01.2013 to 01.01.2023, as well as a study of the quality of life before and after surgery using the MOS SF-36 questionnaire was performed. Results. In the early postoperative period, surgical complications had developed in 51 patients (17.8%), therapeutic complications - in 69 (24.04%). Renal graft function was lost in 33 cases (11.5%). Transplantectomy was performed in 27 (9,4%) cases. Over the entire observation period, 57 (19.86%) cases of death from various causes were registered. The 5-year survival rate after heterotopic kidney transplantation is 93%. The assessment of patients' quality of life showed significant differences before and after kidney transplantation, with a significant improvement in physical and mental health components. Conclusions. The analysis of 10-year study of kidney transplantation indicates the successful development of transplantation in Grodno region. The number of complications and the waiting period for transplantation are in line with national and international standards.
