Abstract

This narrative review poster was presented to the University of Illinois Chicago Minority Health Conference in Chicago in April 2025. The narrative review explored how structural racism is addressed in subjective well-being (SWB) literature. It found that although structural racism is a key determinant of health and quality of life, its association with SWB is rarely explored, leaving a detrimental gap in SWB literature.
