Cultural Heritage Museum, Taraclia Town
Abstract
In the central part of the hall on the wall behind the horizontal loom hangs a carpet known as "two bouquets". This is a carpet woven in the picked “by fingers” technique. On the main black background in the center are two bouquets of bright red roses, in this case combined with dark green leaves. The carpet is surrounded by a floral ribbon, which contains large roses and smaller flowers woven in the color scheme that is present in the bouquets: greenish and red tones. The donor is Tulush Ekaterina, born in 1973 in Taraclia. She received the carpet from her mother-in-law Tulush Maria. Tulush Maria bought this carpet, woven in 1971, as a dowry for her daughter-in-law.
