Abstract

A carpet known as "one bouquet", woven from dyed woolen threads. Woven in the so-called "siliuchano" or picked “by fingers” technique. The basic warp of white threads is visible on the carpet, where there are places eaten by moths, but also on the white patterns along the the narrow ends of the carpet. Quite an unusual carpet, because it looks like it was woven from three separate fragments, but it is woven together. The floral strip is only along the length of the carpet. On the wide sides, two wide floral patterns are woven, also in a red-greenish color scheme, but the flowers look more like poppies, not roses. The flowers are now taking on a round, realistic shape, which indicates that this pattern appeared already in the 1970s. Length approximately 1.5 m, width up to 1 m.
