RMN and PNG Preparing a Dye Bath over an Open Fire in Berzeen Village
Abstract
This video shows PNG and RMN near an open fire, tending to a dye bath containing walnut husks and wool. Using logs as fuel, both carefully manage the fire beneath the pot to bring the dye mixture to a simmer. The wool, submerged in the natural pigments from the walnut husks, will absorb the rich, earthy tones as the pot simmers over time.
