PNG sorting the dyed wool and Sun-Drying in Berzeen Village
Abstract
This video captures PNG as she sorts through freshly dyed wool and begins the sun-drying process in Berzeen village. After being dyed using natural pigments from walnut husks, the wool is carefully handled and separated to ensure an even distribution for drying. PNG methodically spreads the wool on a tray in a sunlit area, allowing the warmth of the sun to naturally dry the fibers and lock in the rich, earthy tones absorbed during the dyeing process. The drying is a crucial step, ensuring that the colors remain vibrant and deeply set in the wool.
