KRM Working on Felting Shu Cloth in Garam Chashma
Abstract
KRM is depicted in the midst of felting Shu cloth in the traditional hot spring pools of Garam Chashma. He is seen bending over, carefully handling the wool fabric as part of the intricate felting process. Using a combination of pressure, natural hot spring water, and manual manipulation, the loose wool fibers are interlocked to transform the woven cloth into a dense and durable Shu fabric. The natural stone setting and the surrounding tools highlight the traditional and sustainable nature of this heritage craft.
