Abstract

The mat files, generated from the modeling, were used to plot Figures 3, 4, 5, A1, B1, and B2 in the paper.Nb_11 and Nb_12 are folders containing the model files with bubble number density, Nb = 10^11 and 10^12 per m3 of melt, respectively, and with the primitive lunar melt composition. Nb_12_higher_melt_viscsity folder contains files for model runs with relatively higher lunar melt viscosity to account for crystals as described in the paper. The name of each file contains the values of the parameters used in the model to generate this file.Example: 1Moon_diseq_f_H2COH2OCO2CH4_Q_6.5_Nb_1e+11_Pgo_2e+07_Ro_1e-07_a_10_b_1000_T_1350_ch2oi_0.0001_cco2i_6.9481e-06_ccoi_4.3354e-06_ch2i_5.3861e-06_minusdeltaIW_1mass discharge rate, Q = 10^6.5 kg/s; bubble number density, Nb = 10^11 per m3 of melt; initial gas pressure, Pgo = 2e7 Pa; initial bubble radius, Ro = 10^-7 m; fissure half width = 10 m; figure length = 1000 m; melt temperature, T = 1350 deg C; initially dissolved H2O weight fraction = 0.0001; initially dissolved CO2 weight fraction = 6.948 x 10^-6; initially dissolved CO weight fraction = 4.3354 x 10^-6; initially dissolved H2 weight fraction =4.3861 x 10^-6; oxygen fugacity, fO2 = IW-1.
