Abstract

The .sav file submitted to the library contains data related to a randomized controlled trial comparing the use of 3D-printed patient-specific titanium surgical plates with conventional plates in computer-assisted jaw reconstruction. The study aimed to evaluate surgical accuracy, efficiency, and clinical outcomes in patients undergoing mandibular and maxillary reconstruction with osteocutaneous free flaps. The dataset includes patient demographics, defect characteristics, details of surgical procedures, timing metrics such as turnaround and operative times, and measurements of reconstruction accuracy. Additionally, it records intraoperative variables like blood loss, complications, and postoperative recovery data. This comprehensive data supports the analysis of the trial’s primary and secondary endpoints, providing valuable insights into the clinical performance of patient-specific plates versus conventional fixation methods in maxillofacial reconstruction. The .spv file is the spss data output file for the .sav file.
