Abstract
Differences on individual coping behaviour between interdependence-primed and independence-primed participants could not be proved.Therefore it is possible that selfstabilizing processes cannot be influenced in short term by experimental activation.In following research the connection between self-construals and assimilative coping should be investigated in more detail.Besides that alternative priming-procedures should be examine.
