Abstract
The white stone blocks and fragments on display in Suzdal and Kideksha museums originate from two notable examples of twelfth‑ and thirteenth‑century Vladimir‑Suzdal architecture: the Church of SS Boris and Gleb in Kideksha and the Suzdal Nativity Cathedral. Alongside masonry and infill stones of varying degrees of surface finish, the collections include numerous blocks bearing distinctive architectural profiles and examples of carved ornamentation. These materials are of considerable scholarly significance as they provide additional evidence concerning the original structures, offering a deeper understanding of the stylistic tendencies and developmental patterns within the Vladimir‑Suzdal tradition of white‑stone architecture.
