Data on fish populations within Hopkins Marine Life Refuge: 1967-1971 and 1996

Abstract

Observations of populations of fish species from two kelp forest transect studies have been transcribed. The first is a report from researchers at California Department of Fish and Game (1973) and the second is from an undergraduate biology thesis (1996). Observations were focused in an area of Hopkins Marine Life Refuge (HMLR) and while the thesis presents comparison data from both research efforts, we include data from both sources.
