Cleaning the Past, Building the Future: Reconstructing the Konya Kiosk (CESTA UG Research Poster)
Abstract
This project digitally reconstructs the 12th-century Konya Kiosk, a collapsed Seljuk palatial structure, by unifying archival data in OCHRE with immersive visualization in Enscape VR. Through data cleaning, metadata verification, and 3D modeling, the kiosk is revived as an interactive experience that advances scholarly research and public engagement with Islamic architectural heritage.
