Abstract

This project develops an interactive historical map of Philippolis in the Free State, South Africa, integrating geospatial technologies with archival research. Built on a full-stack infrastructure of PostgreSQL/PostGIS, GeoServer, and a Leaflet-based front end, the platform connects farm parcels, historical survey maps, and concentration-camp data into a unified spatial database.
