Abstract

Статья посвящена деятельности шейха Мансура на Северо-Западном Кавказе в 1787-1791 гг. Показано, что движение горцев под руководством Мансура было ответом на колониальную политику Российской империи. Раскрыты основные направления военной, административной и религиозной политики шейха в Черкесии. The article is devoted to the activities of Sheikh Mansour in the North-Western Caucasus, in 1787–1791. It is shown that the movement of the highlanders under the leadership of Mansur was a response to the colonial policy of the Russian Empire. The main directions of the sheikh's military, administrative and religious policy in Circassia are revealed.
