Abstract

Статья посвящена первым попыткам включить Карачай в состав Российского государства в последней четверти XVIII в. Отмечается, что данный процесс был осложнен междоусобицей в среде правящего рода Крым-Шамхаловых. The article is devoted to the first attempts to include Karachay into the Russian state in the last quarter of the XVIII century. It is noted that this process was complicated by internecine strife among the ruling family of the Krim-Shamkhalovs.
