THE TITLE OF «IMAM» ACCORDING TO ARAB-MUSLIM SOURCES IN THE CONTEXT OF IMAM MANSOUR'S PERSONALITY

В статье предпринята попытка анализа понятия «имам» посредством сопоставления слова «имам» в Коране, в Сунне и хадисах Пророка, да благословит его Аллах и приветствует. Что же касается значения слова «имам» в исламской научной терминологии то, оно очень близко по смыслу. Основываясь на Коране, Сунне и хадисах Пророка с.в.в, имам Абу ал-Ма`али ал-Джувайний в книге «Гияс ал-умам фи илтияс аз-зулм» дал следующее определение: «Имамство (это) полное возглавление и управление того, что касается частного и общего (локального и глобального) по отношению к тому, что касается религиозного и жизненного (политического)». Поскольку имам является представителем уммы в достижении упомянутых выше целей, и она, умма, дала ему бразды правления и присягнула ему на верность, у него появились обязательства и возможности, и посредством мощи, которая у него появилась после присяги ему, он должен стремиться к осуществлению вышеупомянутых целей. The article attempts to analyze the concept of "imam" by comparing the word "imam" in the Quran, in the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and in the hadiths of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). As for the meaning of the word "imam" in Islamic scientific termi nology, it is very close in meaning. Based on the Quran, the Sunnah of the Prophet s.v. and the hadith, Imam Abu al-Ma'ali al-Juwayni in his book "Ghiyath al-umam fi iltiyath az-zulm" gave the following definition: "Imamship (is) complete leadership and management of what concerns the private and general (local and global) in relation to what concerns the re ligious and vital (political)." Since the Imam is the representative of the Ummah in achieving the above mentioned goals, and the Ummah has given him the reins of gov ernment and pledged allegiance to him, he has obligations and opportuni ties, and through the power that he has acquired after pledged allegiance to him, he must strive to achieve the above mentioned goals.
